We Are Our Own Decipher of What Works for Us
As entrepreneurs, we think differently.
We have that spirit!
We have inspirational stories to share that we’re not even aware of.
In this blog, let me share with you my spiritual journey and how you can take this inspiration into Instagram caption writing.
Prioritizing Spiritual Journey Amongst the Chaos
Meraki Media Management went through a huge transition at the beginning of December. So we were trying to make it through the holidays, and all of January was chaos.
But I chose to prioritize my spiritual journey amongst the chaos.
That time, I knew we had to hire a copywriter, and we did.
Being able to let go of some of that control was hard for me. However, I know that it will build the freedom and the lifestyle that I want.
And it is important because I know that my business will never be able to produce what my clients longed for if I do not put myself first.
Sharing and Being Real
If you're not including lifestyle in your content, you are doing your brand and yourself a disservice.
I’m sharing this because I want you guys to be honest. You have to be real because if you are not including what is going on in your life when you are writing Instagram captions, people will know that you're not being genuine.
A limiting belief that always used to come up from in my family was don't give away all of your secrets. And to some level, of course, that’s true, right? I'm not gonna sit here and coach you guys or take you through my entire business Instagram training because I know how valuable that is. And it should be paid.
But when it comes down to sharing your life, I think it's important to share the adventure that comes off when you are starting a business.
Discovering My Own Advocate
You are the only person who knows what you need. When you listen to everyone else's opinions on what you should do, you're just letting their limiting beliefs fall onto you.
With my coaching practices, we try to give you guys the tools that you need. We tell you all of the options so that you can decipher what will work best, instead of telling you exactly what you need to do.
If you can add inspiration to your Instagram content, you will start converting sales. The reason why I know is that I've done it. We get leads almost once a week off of Instagram for large management clients.
This works when you start sharing your journey, offering more inspiration, talking about where you came from, and where you are now.
Adding Inspiration to Instagram Captions
Now through some of this healing work that I've done, I have figured out that my becoming an entrepreneur was actually out of people-pleasing energy.
And that's upsetting to know that this has been what I've done my entire life. It felt like a really tough pill to swallow.
You're constantly doing for others, instead of stopping and asking yourself, what's going to work for you today? What's going to feel good for you today? Come to think of it. I had never really come to ask myself these questions.
Being self-aware like this started adding inspiration to my Instagram captions. Getting down to the root of my beliefs and understanding what's happening and who I want to be has inspired authenticity in my content.
I hope this encourages you guys to open up about something you've been holding in for so long because they made you who you are today.
That, in itself, is an inspiration.
