How to Write Content Your Ideal Client is Attracted to

If you're here to learn more about Instagram, whether it's for your business or simply because you're interested in becoming an Instagram influencer, this is a great place to start.

What I found as I continued to research that topic was that I would experiment with other platforms that play off of direct messaging. I believe that you cannot make a sale on social media without having at least a one-on-one conversation with potential clients.

Somebody rarely comes to your page and purchases a course randomly. Unless you're selling that course through your writing content and rhetoric that you're using, how will anyone know what you're offering?

So that is why we're on today's topic of content writing. Here are tips to help you out.

Discovering Your Ideal Client

Discover who your ideal client is. If you've been a part of my community, you've heard me say this a lot, and it's so true. You cannot have a successful business without understanding who your clients are.

As you're going through writing content, think about who you'd like to work with in the future. Are the types of people who can describe who you are or have a personality that is similar to yours? An ideal client is a past version of yourself.

Write the things that you want to think about when it comes to your ideal client.

  • Clients that you enjoyed working with

  • Their qualities

  • Things you loved about working with them

  • Conversations that you've had

When you look at all of those types of stories that you're describing, what are the commonalities, the values that people hold, and what are their interests? These are the types of things that I want you to think about when it comes to your ideal client.

Market Research

There's so much market research literally at your fingertips.

Think about going to Facebook. Look at those Facebook groups you're probably already in. Sort out the questions that people express on the page. Facebook groups are a good place for people to get information, and they’re also a safe place for them to ask questions.

Then, join other Facebook groups. Once you know who your clients are, it gives you a great pulse on the market. This is one of my favorite pieces of advice and I still utilize this tactic.

Overarching Themes

Share information or stories that help, come out with a new amazing topic weekly.

As an example, here’s what I do:

Monday - how my pricing failed at the beginning of my business

Tuesday - how I was attracting client that couldn't afford both services

Wednesday - more into the story and explain emotions that I felt

Thursday - I do my IGTV.

Friday - I'm going to share another story, and I'm going to ask a question

Planning out strategically one step ahead will save you so much time in your business.

Clarity on Your Ideal Client

There is a beauty to having a nurtured, small community on Instagram because you know the community, and who's hanging out there.

Any type of client is a blessing. If you have clients right now, I know that may or may not be your absolute ideal client. That's okay because they're still a part of your community. If you don't, then that's something else you want to think about. Set yourself up to marketing more towards those clients that you enjoy working with, and that's just going to help your energy.

I hope you find this information helpful. Let me know what you think about this and any other topics you think I should discuss!
