Unhook from the Urgency with Lisa Tuthill and Abby Arrizon

As business owners and marketers, how do you put yourself out there? Do you use any methods when connecting with clients and customers?

Many business owners consider hiring business coaches to help them upscale their businesses. It's a good move, but what exactly should you look for when searching for a coach?

This week's episode is the first part of my conversation with Lisa and Abby where we shared so much about the coaching industry's BIGGEST hiccups. And talked about how pricing relates to your mental health and how it all bridges to coaching.

The Shift in Our Culture and Society

Due to recent times and how our way of life has evolved and become more involved, our society has established the coaching industry and has prioritized mental health. This industry just recently took off, and we are still in the beginning stages of it. So, nobody knows how to navigate this system. And nobody has any idea how to perfect the process.

With this thought, everyone handles their business, pricing, and marketing differently. This variation may cause some complexities in the situation. But there's one thing I've gained from my conversation with Lisa and Abby; it's to adapt and understand this shift. You should always retain and keep in mind the values you put into your soul.

The Service That You Provide

We all have our own beliefs about money. But we also have to provide service that feels right in our system.

How would we feel if we market to somebody who couldn't afford our services? Are we willing to give out pricing that doesn't align with our values?

When connecting with someone and selling our services, we must put our purpose into our hearts. We must follow our mission of providing a solution to problems.

Our goal in offering our services is to improve this world, not to undermine others.

Keeping Our Integrity

In our field of work, we should know our threshold and be clear about what we are looking for and what we want to engage. So if someone approaches us, we can be very open to what we offer, and the connection with them will go smoothly.

To do this, we must give much thought to our message, marketing, selling, and language. Know that the best aspect of our self and language is our integrity.

We should not make claims above and beyond the truth. Showing our true selves allows us to reach the right audience and build a relationship with more depth.

Knowing Your Scarcity Thoughts

We're all going through these stages of development.

Both the clients and customers are learning altogether. And so it can also be powerful to tune in to your wisdom and knowledge and think about your scarcity thoughts. Enumerate your fears and the obstacles that are blocking you. Know how you can grow from them to overcome these struggles.

We're also going to have challenging encounters and conversations with other people. There are moments when we might not agree on something. But instead of blaming the other, it's better to think about yourself. Think things through and respect others, despite opposing ideas.

Because our psyche tends to be so delicate, we must constantly maintain control over it. But let's take this in a way that can motivate us to look deep within ourselves and be aware of our thoughts, actions, and the external aspects of our lives.

We'll be more capable of doing our best if we accept responsibility for what we observe and do. And as for customers, it is also best to be informed and knowledgeable. Do your work in choosing the right coach for you.

Never forget that to have an impact, one must begin with oneself and that to accomplish one's goals, one must have that impact.
