Living in the Unknown
How to live with the unknown? It’s a common question nowadays. Tons of Americans and people recently struggled with serious anxiety issues ever since the pandemic happened, and I am not an exception either.
It used to feel hard for me to live with the unknown. I remember graduating from college and thinking for the first time in my life, I don't have a plan. I don't know where I'm going to school next year, and I have no clue what I truly want to do. You're spoiled until you graduate, at which point you're on your own.
But hey, I believe we all can learn to navigate in the unknown. Here’s my exploration so far:
Living in the unknown is a normal process of thriving.
Anxiety and dread of the unknown stem from the thought of not knowing what will happen next. Controlling what you don't know is impossible, and it's difficult. As an entrepreneur, we don't have that much control over how other people react to us. When I graduated, it was like leaping into an icy bath, which, thankfully, is getting lukewarm as time progressed.
My business has become one of the most beneficial unknowns in my life during the last four years. It's not ideal but I'm getting there. Dealing with uncertainty hasn't been easy for me, but it's all a part of the process.
Living in the unknown forces us to face our needs.
The unknown gives a lot of fear, and that forces us to think out of necessity. Sometimes we have this urgency to ask for help and direction. You have to ask yourself what is going to make you feel at ease. What kind of help do you need?
In my experience, anxiety would consume me throughout the day to the point that I felt immobilized. And it was at that point that I decided to get a coach.
Choosing a coach entails a lot of studies; you need to know everything about this coach and what they'll be instructing you to determine if it's worth employing them. And if you ever need to employ a coach, be sure you can afford one.
Living in the unknown can be faced with better mental health.
If you're making money off of the platform, then you're good. The only number that matters is the one in your bank account. But this unknown of what posts are going to be the best? How am I going to reach these numbers? That is such B-S.
Look at the information strategically, and see that the genuinely relevant numbers are the website clicks. And it is not so much about the particular sharing and sending saves. It is about what helps us create fantastic content for our audience - and that which truly matters to them.
Living in the unknown is better with self-awareness.
I'd want to discuss the superhero Wanda. I recall how she had her force fields. That's what I envision around myself when I'm stressed. I return to my body and do my sphere to reconnect with my energies.
If you feel trapped living in the unknown, I know you can AND WILL find your way. You can grasp it better by being self-aware. Find your safe space to get started, and know that the End in Mind is here to be that kind of space for you, to build a healthy mindset and spring you forward.
