Make More Money by Focusing on One Thing in Your Business

Recently, I have been working with a few clients who have concerns about their offers. Are their offers what their clients need? Are they willing to put themselves out there and charge for their services?

When we first start taking this leap of faith, we have a lot of questions running through our minds. It’s scary! When you start a new business, most probably you’re in a hole and that can put you under a lot of stress. With the stress of having no money, you sometimes panic. You panic at the thought of having to provide something of value for you to be able to manage your life. It’s really difficult.

With this difficulty, it’s a lot harder to come up with an offer or something that you’re good at to give value to your customers. There’s a lot of feedback to consider, and it’s overwhelming for us to process the whole thing at once.

Listen to your clientele.

In this case, the best thing to do is to gather up all the information that you have. It is always best to listen to your clients and know them more. Know the things that they want, need, or the demands that they have. After all, they are the ones who will use your services.

Evaluate.

After gathering all information about your clients, you must now evaluate everything. Ask yourself these questions:

  • What can make me more money?

  • What things can I reuse?

  • What things do I want to do?

  • Or am I okay with doing this for the clients?

These questions will help you narrow down your options and help you focus on things that need to be done.

Find one thing to focus on your business.

By focus, I mean having your attention on the things that you found out during the evaluation. For example, imagine when client A wants to have a one-on-one course and client B wants a pre-recorded one. After the evaluation, you can say that you don’t have enough information about your clients to make a pre-recorded course. Perhaps have a one-on-one coaching session with 10 people. After a while, when you have enough information on what your client wants, you can now create a pre-recorded course. You can reuse that for a year or so.

Grow with your clients.

When implementing a niche or focusing on one specialty in your business, you need constant improvement. You must grow with your clients and their needs. Flexibility and fluidity are really important.

The final takeaway

Remember, to come up with the best offers to fit our client’s needs, information gathering is a must. Focus or specialize in an aspect of our business. Focusing on one thing in your business is crucial and beneficial for you to find the success you need. The best part, you can always keep the end goal in mind.
