How to Give Content With Value: Start Within You

“You cannot give what you do not have.”Ring a bell?

If you’re like me in the early stages of my online business, you must have also gone through this struggle of getting more clients when you know in yourself that you have nothing of value to offer them. This limited mindset was rooted in my childhood upbringing that money will not bring me happiness. That was because my parents were really financially struggling back then. I grew up wanting to have more in life but also having the fear of losing all of these in one day.

Over time, and after many coaching and holistic healing journeys, I have come to realize that people are more drawn to our authentic selves rather than to a pretended or polished image. I have seen how paralyzing this limited mindset is. Thankfully, I have come to understand that even if I don’t have much yet, I also am not totally empty. And that’s how I shifted my mindset from having this lack to finding value in what I actually have in the present.

So let me share with you valuable nuggets of business that I have learned over the years that perhaps you also need to hear today:

  • There is always something valuable in YOU. Share it.

We all become unique individuals from the different backgrounds and upbringing that made us who we are in the present. Our own experiences alone have given us much value in acquired skills and lessons that we could share with others. We don’t need to reach a high level of financial gain just to open up a business. We could always begin with our own skills and experiences that we could help others with.

  • Always focus on giving content that has value. Profits will follow.

In doing online business, creating content could be challenging at first. However, make it your goal to always offer something that your target client could make use of. When you think of value, you always think back to yourself as a client. What was important or useful to you that you have consumed from others’ posts or videos? It could be entertainment, knowledge, or business ideas. Whatever you find useful for yourself will definitely be useful for your niche market as well.

  • Your clients will naturally gravitate to your circle. Be consistent.

Finally, you got to be consistent with the level of value that you provide to your target client. Once they have started following you, they will be expecting similar content that they find would help them. This applies to the kinds of messages you provide and how frequently you share this content with your ideal client. When you are consistent, your target clients will continue to stick with you and eventually patronize what you will offer them if they are in alignment with you.

Bottom line:

When it comes to creating content, you can trust that you already have that valuable message in you. Listen to yourself. Listen to your upbringing. Listen to your experiences. More importantly, listen to the questions that are always asked of you. These will guide you to the value-laden content your client deserves to receive.

I talk more about this important information in this podcast episode, so be sure to tune in! If you’ve been inspired by this message, I’d also love to hear from you. Slide me a DM!
