Evolution and the Importance of Being Your Own Coach

The great depression changed the trajectory of American history. It changed the trajectory of the world. It had a huge impact on human beings through their thought processes, their mental state, how they react to social situations, and how they continue to develop throughout their lives.

My grandmother managed to get herself out of poverty and started to pave her way towards success, despite being born poor during the great depression era. Despite having nothing, she worked herself up to get the things she deserved and did the things that made her happy.

The Impact of the Great Depression

All of these happened because of the hardships they went through when they were young during the great depression era.

I couldn’t imagine this generation living the same kind of life as the great depression. It made me realize how grateful I am for the life that I get to live now.

Life with Social Media

Now that I've seen people move towards this era of social media, we're dealing with different kinds of stress and problems. We tend to worry about even just little things like, What's the next trend out? What to wear? How many Instagram followers should I have? And the list goes on and on. It's just so stressful, leading to anxiety and self-doubt.

How Social Media Affected My Mental Health

Social media is a fast-paced platform and we tend to keep up with the trends - what’s in, what’s not. And to be honest, we can never keep up.

I used to waste a lot of time thinking about conversations I had with clients - over analyzing every little thing that I did so badly to the point where I would feel sick or I wouldn't get anything done. But in the end, I realized that it was just me and my negative thoughts. I created those in my mind. The clients didn’t really feel bad or anything. It was just me.

Keeping up with social media is one of the most stressful things to do but you need to remember that it’s okay if you slow down and work at your own pace.

The Evolution of My Business

The way we live our lives is how we become a representation of others. This is the path I took when I started my business. I wanted to show people that despite being at a very young age, it is possible for you to start your own business, start your own brand, or become successful. If you lead by representation, you continue to draw more of that energy towards you so it continues to attract more abundance in your life on a daily basis.

The Takeaway

Be your own coach. You are the leader of your life. Take power and pride in everything that you do. Think that you are capable of doing something that you desire.

That way, you are teaching intuition that you can do it and no one’s going to stop you from achieving your goals. It's all about teaching yourself by representation.
