Why Entrepreneurship Can Feel Lonely At The Top

One of my long-term virtual assistants decided to part ways with Meraki Media Management. To say that I’m heartbroken is really an understatement. I absolutely love her and I wish her all the best. This is one of the things that would most likely happen in the world of entrepreneurship.

This is why entrepreneurship can feel so lonely. Because I don’t have someone to explain this feeling if I’m all alone. You can’t explain this to your mom because she doesn’t have knowledge about being an Entrepreneur.

How To Overcome Your Perfectionist Mindset

So the first thing in mind in overcoming is to go into problem-solving mode. For me, journaling is a great way to solve my problems because it puts my emotion into perspective. Writing down a to-do list of what I need to do right can help me decide the right actions for the right scenario. If I didn’t have this I would be in an emotional state right now. But I cannot be grieving any longer. I need to be mentally aware and focus on being the leader of my team as we continue to go forward.

We As Perfectionists Are Also Perfectionists When It Comes To Healing

We are these crazy people who like to over-analyze every word we say, every thought to begin with, especially when talking to a coach. Because our mindset is always thinking that we should be one step ahead of everybody.

But at what cost do we lose because we’re focused on the perfectionist mindset? Our intuition is ignored, we ignore our bodies, and the situation that we’re in, especially the signs of the universe being shown to us, is ignored as well.

It had a scarcity in my brain, but I was aware of it. I never thought I could do this. But I was very confident and eventually, I have the capacity to do it. I was ready and I took the right steps because of my intuition.

The Importance of Slowing It Down In Order to Speed It Up

Through a lot of coaching work that is done here at Meraki, it’s really about slowing down in order to speed up. We slow down and ask ourselves, “Do we have the capacity ?”, and “Is the goal closer like it’s in the palm of my hand?”. If the goals are achievable in the next four or five years, then it’s okay to take your time. No goal should happen in a day. Urgency is not really my thing, I hate it.

Urgency creates fear. And Urgency is not even real. Everything that is meant to happen for you is happening right now. It’s all divine timing. The beauty of divine timing is that it happens after you’ve worked hard for it, and all of a sudden you’re winning every day.

Bottomline:

Don’t let the urgency, perfectionism, scarcity, worries, your freedom, your right, and the future get to you. Keep things under control. and continue to listen to yourself.
